Eulogy by President Dubinsky
Friday, January 26, 1934
"With bowed heads and deep sorrow we shall escort today to his final resting place one of the oldest veterans of the cloakmakers' army which helped to lay the foundation of our Union. Herman Grossman was not only one of the generals and leaders of the International but also one of its first soldiers who prepared the ground and sowed the seeds from which our Union has sprouted and grown.
"In the name of the I.L.G.W.U., which the deceased Grossman had served so faithfully, I call upon all members to come and pay him final tribute and honor."
