DO YOU REMEMBER THE HAPPY DAYS
[page 2]
THE GOOD DAYS
When we had a 44 hour work week.
When our wages were 25-50% higher than now.
When we abolished charge for thread and needles.
When we had the power to better ourselves.
In other words- when we were organized.
THE'RE COMING BACK
For the Corset Workers are reorganizing now.
We already have a live, fine union of several hundred members.
There's a wonderful spirit of renewed hope in this organization.
And our membership is growing everyday.
(Did you notice, by the way, how many departments didn't get the cut they expected. The word is going around that we are organizing. That is the reason.)
